Feed green pea at least thrice per week, it can help to prevent swimming bladder disease.

I feed them Algae Wafer for their greens.
So far no sign of SBP.

To me I think these are the most important factors in keeping healthy Goldfish.
1) maintain good water quality.
2) do not overfeed. (also feed a balanced varieties)
3) do not overcrowd. (simple stocking rule, use 10L of water for every 1inch fish not including tail)
4)QT ALL new fish at least 3-4 wks
5) Do not over medicate.

i see ur gf diet is very varied. nice efforts in this area.

I did not do for #4.
I only quarantine for a few days, then put in main tank already.
Sometimes i did not do quarantine at all, maybe i trust the LFS i got my fish from.
