Smile Recommended food to bring out the potential of Xback Golden

Qns to all Shifu or experience hobbyist out there.. What are the recommended food/pellet and amount intake for Xback so that it helps in the growth and colouration. Thanks.

possible it take jumbo stick pellet..full of nutrition..so it can bring out the colouration. and take bullfrog to bring the growth..

For me MP 100% but must be patience good water parameter is a must and ph stable all the way 24/7 .

For me, it is a mixture of live feeders, prawn, SW and cricket. To my understanding and learnt in AF, there is no recommended food but only depend on the gene and the water condition. Most importantly, on TLC to your aro.

thanks for all the advice.. i've tried feeding it with cricket and frogs. but it just dont seem to take the MP, any tips ? and for pellet? what's the brand?

If your aro is still young, feed them with whatever they like and change their diet slowly after they reached your desire size.
As for the lvl of shine, very much depend on their gene.

if you want to train your Aro eating mp and pellet, then you don't feed them for few days, slowly start with one slice of mp and 1 pellet, let it try out slowly, once it eat, then do it once at a time. Increase the amount till it stop. You may face rejection at the begining, however, patience will pay off.

yup. really do alot of patience. Tried feeding my dear xback wif Hikari Tropical food stick, but onli take 2 stick. will try again tomorrow. but hope it will take it MP as well. Just hope my so-so Xback can get to his potential, With lots of reading from here.. and help from all the experience member here.
