For BB to work effectively you need strong flow so that no detritus is on the floor. Also you need a more effective skimmer. You can add some small PH on the tank floor and try using another skimmer and see if the diatom will go away. Regards |

Just a white bottom and it protects the glass in case of me or a rock slide. Just a skimmer and the sump will settle some detritus that I can siphon out. Something I noticed this morning for the first time. The skimmer is barely pulling anything out, you could say it's nothing.
