Can enlighten us how to go about deworming? Soak pellet with medication or add into tank? What medication recommended please

I'm not sure what the experts here used. As an amatuer, I use Prazi, a liquify medication to deworm my gf. Just need to follow the directions on the bottle...do a 30% wc and add onto the water of your tank.

Yes, I used Pazi Gold as well.

Can also use the Anti-internal used by discus as well.
It powder form and there is instruction how to mix to food or direct dose to tank also can

For routine deworming, I use Prazi in water to rid of external parasites (esp. body and gill flukes) and internal worms.
For treatment of more obvious problems, I feed gel food mixed with Metronidazole @1% body weight of affected fish. This is a common antibiotics also for both human and pets.

If add Prazi to main tank to deworm, after that need to 100% water change?
And will Prazi kill the BB?

Your is sump system right?

During treatment, poos not cleared to sump, cleared it by sucking away or scoop it out.
Normal WC will do and throw away the wool. Do not reused.

In fact, no point to wash the wool to reuse. I do weekly change of wool.
Don't worry about what BB being washed away or reduce in BB.

The BB on wool is nothing compare to the media. More important is not to have your media being choke by improper mechanical filter of the poos.

Normal practice is to do one partial w/c first prior to any treatment and one after the treatment. For Prazi or any parasite/worming, need to redose a second time to kill all new hatchings..first round will kill the adults but not their eggs. Prazi is safe for your bbs.

So do i off my sump when i apply the Prazi Gold?
