Default RE: DIY Tank Background 3rd Year Update

Hi guys, its a good 3 years since I last made my first DIY background for my tanganyika fishes. This is an updated picture of the tank which is still running now.

As compared to 3 years ago, the tank

(1) is now plantless, because they just died off very easily. Those that were in the tank were either bitten off bits by bits or uprooted by fishes.

(2) has the background and rocks covered in algae, giving it a more natural look as compared to before.

(3) background is still holding well and there is no noticeable damage that was seen on it.

Those who has not seen the thread as to how I made the background and is interested, can refer to this link: http://www.arofanatics.com/forums/sh...d.php?t=335112

Cheers!

it's a really nice background that you have done. And the integration of the powerhead and air tubings behind the background is a good idea..

Great job bro! I saw your post when you first set up the background in your tank. Inspiring!
