Any bros using T5 lightings for 522 tank? Planning to use 2 tubes, 39W 8500k each. Will it be sufficient?

Actually 2 feet depth shouldn't be an issue. Are you planning to plant your tank too?
If not, then it's more than sufficient. But if you are going to plant, then perhaps 1 more tube may be slightly better. ![]() |

Then 2 tubes should suffice.

Thanks. I only concern with the brightness. I have try 4 T8, bright but not that intense. Algae should not be an issue. Nothing much for them to live on except lights.

I'm using a 4' x 54W T5 HO daylight tube for most of my tanks. Those 39W probably not HO series T5?
