Default RTG 17-22" increase in value, should i trade for red?

I observed RTG 18-22" increase in value. Heard its for Vietnam breeders. will the price go up somemore?

Should i trade mine for red? many mixed feelings and opinions.

would like a comm tank of many varieties but if forced to choose only 1 aro, i like to see fish grow big over time. heard Red development just get better and better.

RTG can grow until 24"? have 3 specs on 6 m top level but wait 3mths, losing confidence it can turn XB... other RTG owners too?

24" shoud not be a problem..but when you buy an RTG, why do you want to expect it to become XB? RTG is RTG...whatever extra is just bonus....

First is your own taste. For me, i'll choose red. Secondly you want to see 6th level then go for red cos rtg will never cross. Lastly for value, to me red will always fetch a much higher value so again it's red for me. Just sharing my thoughts.

Red Tail Golden Arowanas will never cross over its back even when the fish is matured or fully grown.

Agreed, a RTG will only be an RTG, even if shine is extremely good, best is a HBRTG and never be upgraded to a XB. To each his/her own. Maybe for red might be a little more work especially with water parameters and tanning aspect.
