If all else fail, put some coral chips (very cheap...1pack few $ only) inside couple trays of OHF. However, looking at your setups, I'm still puzzled how you manage to achieve constant PH at 5-ish with regular WC though.....farm water or Singapore water is 7-ish le.

Better add cc or OS till u get 6.5
BTW u feed heavily? If u want can use the baking soda powder to buffer ph everytume u change water.. but must be careful.. add a little bit like a half a teaspoon for every 2hr until ur desire ph.. then remembered how much powder u need for the atm of water change. . And add the baking soda every time u change water. Too much trouble for me.. so I prefer to add OS. |
