Day 3.
The eggs have hatched! Not all have hatched. I need advise from bros here. Do I move the fry to another tank with fresh water or do I just leave it? Is there any other food I can feed the fries beside brine shrimp? I would like to share the pictures of the fries any bro here can teach me how to do it?

Hi LeMe, understand your fish also have spawned recently. Want to check with you, how long did you wait until you remove those eggs that are not hatched?

Bro, normally I'll advise to syphon away the unhatched eggs even before the fries start to free swim.
In your case, due to low hatch rate, isn't it easier to transfer the fries away?
When you try hand spawning again, you might want to milt the male in the basin first and gently stir the water.
Then spawn the male and female together and while doing that, keep stirring the water to spread out the eggs. Fertilisation rate will then increase.

I still got alot to learn from the guru here. However it's a very exciting experience to try to spawn ranchus.

yeah follow TVR shifu..
when they still eggs i changed 100% water(Not more than 6inches filled) instructed by the shifu here. and added methylene blue. Thereafter i did not touch the water. After 3-4day, they are free swimming, and i waited about 8days of free swimming then i change 30% of the new Conditioned water by siphoning the dirty stufsf and unfertilised eggs, then every 2-3days change 30%.

Thanks LeMe for sharing your valuable experience. You mentioned in your post, you only change water after the 8th day, meaning you only start feeding from the 7th or 8th day? Did you feed BBS? I'm new to BBS and stuff as I have never breed or use them before and where can I get BBS eggs?
