Your 2ft tank belongs to which design:

1) Plain tank
2) IOS tank
3) Tank with sump

Also, elaborate on what do you want to the tank to be ie FOWLR, a mixed reef tank or pure reef tank?

Other wise veri difficult to propose otherwise you will give up the hobby due to failure resulting from lack of equipment.

Finally, read up the sticky thread in this sub-forum and save yourself a lot of time

Welcome to the pocket draining hobby of marine fishkeeping. Since your new to this hobby, suggest you readup deep_end's article here. It gives you an overall understanding of the hobby as well as some of the equipment needed.

Like what bro nim75sg has mentioned, you need to mention more before we can help you out better. Certain equipment are only useful for certain setups, getting the best doesn't mean its going to be more useful than a cheaper alternative. Example: For a fish only setup, metal hallide lamps although very good but are not useful. We can just use cheap fluoroscent bulbs.

Remember, equipment are there to aid us. Ultimately, its knowledge that ensures success. Do your research on the necessary stuff like cycling process, setting up the tank, stocking up etc.. Marine fishkeeping is not as simple as buying all the necessary equipment and you will succeed unlike freshwater setups where you may just get away without any prior knowledge.
