What is the recommended pump?
i think it depends on what fish you are keeping.

I am using 4500l/hr for my 422. for 5ft i think you can easily use a 5000L/Hr. Just make sure your sump set up is able to take the flow.

I am using Jebo FM10,000, Up lorry in 5 months.
I'm using Tsunami Pump.

Someone is recommending Atman stating lower electricity consumption.

Tsunami is 150W for 15t/hr
Atman 1200 is 110W for 10.5t/hr.

But they were saying the electricity draw rate is higher for Tsunami pump.

Nice, i am actually looking at the Tsunami. Since you a re user, can i get some feedback from you?

How is the quality of Tsunami pump? Are they able to take in some outdoor "abuse" such as lumps of algae, sand sediments, etc?

Tsunami is definitely able to handle the abuse!

but no good to have sand.

I've 2 tsunami pump running for 7 years already.
Only one of them change the bearing after 2 years. ($80).
other than this, it is reliable.

However, I was told that altho it is rated at 150W, the actual pull is almost 300W.... (as it is rated P2....dunn what is this!)

while our aquarium pump is rated P1.
