The Ketapang Tree aka KTP has leaves of green, red, brown, gold colours on the tree. Dried leaves of such colours as well are typically scattered on the ground. The barks on the trunk have rough texture and there are "eyes" on the trunck where branches used to be. Young shoots often grow from ground level. The size of mature leaves ranges from 20 cm to 30 cm.

BTW - these points are what I observed on ground and certainly extperts are welcome to add/amend them.

Have fun gathering KTP for your beloved fishes.

Cheers

Default Dried young leave vs the big one

I have found out that the dried darker brown young ktp leave make the water browner than the older ones. It is healthier to the fish as it has no or lesser trace of sap or slime compare to the bigger leave.
