L46 best substrate for breeding - very fine sand VS bare bottom. Please vote.

Setting up a nano 1ft OF tank set for L46s.. Still juvs at 2-3cm/1inch... Any advise on brands or types of sand can use to make them feel at home?..a thin layer will be fine...

fine sand is enough, they like to dig around. Put some small drift woods for them to hide.

I go for thin layer sand.
But too many tanks to maintain can be very tiring.
