Smile Asking for opinions on WC

hi to all...just want to ask for some feedbacks on this...

most of us will do WC once every week. but presuming that your tank's water parameter remains stable even into the 2nd week (i.e. stable pH, 0 ammonia/nitrites, nitrates < 100ppm), will you still conduct WC after the 1st week?

other than e point suggestings that fish grows faster with more regular WC, are there any other adverse effects on the fishes if WC is conducted once every 2 weeks compared to once every week (with the assumption that the water parameter remains acceptable even at the end of 2 weeks)?

yup..i know tt's e norm for keeping discus in 2-3ft tanks...

but what abt those with big tanks? from what i know, tanks with >1000l of water (6ft and above) will generally have more managable/stable water parameters.

now i understand why some bros ask for some pipe systems to make WC become more 'automated' rather than carrying water buckets ard in the house hehe

I carry buckets around the house.
I only do about 5% water change each time. ( 1 bucket)

For the big tank, i only have PH meter to indicate , and ammonia indicator.
i didn't conduct the check, so i depend on my BB in my filteration system.
still will do weekly WC, feel more safe.

water is cheap ler, it's the electricity that kills us
So when my wife complains abt my daily WC or I hv too many tanks, I show her the PUB breakdown of charges : it's small portion of bill when compared to electricity total charges
