hi guys im new into discus...what kind of discus should i get??
not those super grade but newbie affordable one....thks

strains nt sure abot that still a noob abot discus....still readin and learning abot discus thread...those less then $50 i guess...thks for reply

discus are hardy fish.
You can try looking into browns, pigeons and turqs.
they are the best bet for beginners.

there are commercial websites where you can browse for pictures of the different strains.

most importantly, pick something healthy and u like!

there are many strains in the market.

Albino, spotted and colour.

Best to start with something you like. One can go and buy the adult size which will cost a bit more depending on strain. Or you can buy the juveniles size and learn to look after them.

Pick the discus whose size best fits your tank. This is so if you don't know how to grow your discus, at least you have the correct size.
