Heh~ thanks for the info... they are wc laps if the words of the lfs are true.... Had them at a high premium as a gift from my wife last year... they had 13 and 14 finlets. I told her it looks like a very ex type of bichir (PBB) and she just book from the shop without me knowing!

someone should post a side by side comparison of their wondeful PBB and a PPL. will be very educational! (sorry if it had been done but scanning thru' the threads I did not find this info)

Cold blood, that is 100% Lapradei.

Tendou, I have had a few Laps with the little "7" as you call it.
It is not a PBB trait.

Yea, this "trait" is indeed present in PBBs and some PBLs as mentioned by King-el, but are there PBBs without this "trait"?

Just sharing my poly retros that've been with me for the past 2 months. Stabilised and colours are much better than when i first got them.

There are 9 pieces living peacefully together in there. With the smallest at 7 inches and largest at 11 inches.

Are there any polyterus teugelsis around? Been trying to get them for quite sometime.

Yes, there are.
My first PBB I ever owned was a wild caught 16", had no "7" markings.
