You dont need many shrimps to work on your population. The number of yours should be good enough to work with unless you are thinking of selling them.

Lower grade shrimp doesn't equate to cheaper in price if you are talking about quality one. However, most people are still preferring to buy high grade shrimp.

Personally, I still preferred those low grade quality ones. Their red color is more intense than most high grade ones. A very good high grade crs with good coloration is hard to come by.

may i know how long does it take for the shrimp to condition to its new environment and starts breeding again?

coming a month, and no sign of berried mama

First of all, are your females carrying eggs on her back? If no, then they are more likely not ready to get mated yet. Then you have to wait a little bit longer. If yes, she may be getting into mate on next molt or after next.
