Haha..thinking of increasing to max 6..trying to find jumbos one if keeping just 4..u are right bro...that is suffering from sbp..will be a little floaty after meals...

With 422, you have in excess of 400L of water volume. You could keep up to 8 GF. But the thing with GF is that they tend to consume each other's poo so if one fella gets sick, there's a high tendency the others will catch it rather quickly if the sick fish is not isolated immediately. Therefore, the higher the number of GF in the tank, the higher the risk. Another thing I have learnt is that if the tank community is stable, refrain from adding fish. You could QT the new fish etc. but more often than not, new addition could introduce some unexpected issues. Fish from different communities are carriers of diseases from their respective environment. They are resistant to it but when we mix them (we often do this), then the weaker ones may not survive the cross-contamination.

Yes bro.. I understand and that is my concern as well. If there is a need to add new fish, there would be a risk. What I could do will be to mitigate the potential risk.. ie . Salt bath for a week or so while quarantine. Hopefully, it will be better..
