three issues are top of desmond choo’s agenda: Low wages, low income families and education.

Speaking to media on thursday during his walkabout at hougang block 1 where he was accompanied by party members, the people’s action party candidate for hougang said, “as a unionist, issues concerning low wage workers continue to be very central to me. That’s what i’ve been working on even in my daily work as the executive secretary of use (union of security employees). How are we going to bring up better employment terms, making sure that my workers continue to earn a good wage at the same time with good prospects?”

S$980 and S$1250, factor in worker levy, will be more than $1k for the entry level pay. Well, I believe some Singaporeans will be ok with that.

I am not entirely sure if Singaporeans will take up jobs from $980 to $1k plus. Even if, I am not sure if the supply is enough to fill the demand.

I personally feel there's no issue to get Foreigners to cover such jobs.

My concerns are more of jobs which general Singaporeans would want to do but taken up by foreigners under employment pass, offered PR, brings their whole kampong in. In general, these people get paid even more than local graduates.

They are KIND!

If they pay so low to Singaporean, how can they survive?
In order for Singaporean to be affordable for the High COE, and not affected by the high inflation, they want Singapore to get the High Pay job only.

So all these low pay job cannot be offer to Singaporean...Got It?

So their interest is to "Take Care" of Singaporean.

This reason good?
