Bro Alan, can I ask why you decide to use big holes instead of many smaller holes (1mm - 2mm), is it because big holes will have better water circulation? Cause I thought of using acrylic partition as well but drill alot of small holes for water circulation and at the same time prevent shrimplets to get across the other side of the tank. Anyway this is a really good way to partition a tank, knowing that I don't have any confidence in doing a good silicon job if i use glass.

Yah, you are right. For the stainless steel mesh with 0.1 - 0.2mm, wonder where can get a big piece? So far have not seen such fines holes in LFS or hardware shop yet. The ones u got is it sold in a big piece?
