I have decided to setup a 3 ft tank with chiller to keep TW fire red outside my aircon shrimp room... Going to dump in 200 TW Mr Lee's line fire red plus the babies I have.

1. what temp will you be keeping your fire reds at? 2. why don't just keep them in your already chilled shrimp room? |

Wouldn't it be more economical to put all in same room?
Since you already running the air con, why waste electricity running an additional chiller? |

I'm wondering if i'll get crazy enuf to hv a room converted into a shrimp room. Afterall, I have spare rooms at home and most importantly, it's much cheaper running 24hrs aircon (inverter system) than running individual chillers per tank.
Currently, I will be having 2 tanks and both will be chilled. Assuming, each tank cost me $20 to chill, that will be $40/mth. To aircon a room 24/7, I assume the utilities will cost me abt $70-100 (for inverter system). It will make economical sense if I have 4 tanks. |
