I have decided to setup a 3 ft tank with chiller to keep TW fire red outside my aircon shrimp room... Going to dump in 200 TW Mr Lee's line fire red plus the babies I have.

bro, two questions:
1. what temp will you be keeping your fire reds at?
2. why don't just keep them in your already chilled shrimp room?

Wouldn't it be more economical to put all in same room?
Since you already running the air con, why waste electricity running an additional chiller?

I'm wondering if i'll get crazy enuf to hv a room converted into a shrimp room. Afterall, I have spare rooms at home and most importantly, it's much cheaper running 24hrs aircon (inverter system) than running individual chillers per tank.

Currently, I will be having 2 tanks and both will be chilled. Assuming, each tank cost me $20 to chill, that will be $40/mth. To aircon a room 24/7, I assume the utilities will cost me abt $70-100 (for inverter system). It will make economical sense if I have 4 tanks.
