Maybe after ur utility bills arrived we will know how much its gonna cost and then u can advise us whether is it worthwhile to invest on this chiller.

But at least it serves the purpose to chill your tank to the desire temperature.

Good job. Thanks for sharing info. Can you also share why you choose TEM chiller over the normal chiller. ie gas type.?

Erm, I was making a choice between Hailea HC-100A and Johnlen Thermoelectric chiller. Ben from Petmart recommend Johnlen TEM as he said that it is more cost saving, in terms of electricity bill.

Also Johnlen TEM Chiller is more than half the size of a Resun CL200 and much lighter in weight. It operate quietly, with no vibration when it is running.

Last but not least, since my tank is only near to 20 liters, I thought a small chiller would be enough for it. =)

Plans for cycling period:

- Tonight I will dose Mosura Bioplus, to speed up the cycle process.
- After 1.5 weeks, change around 70% of water. Then dose Mosura Mineral Plus and Mosura Bioplus.
- On the 3rd week, I will put in Old Sea Mud Rock.

In a month time, I hope the water parameter will be fine tune. hehehe

Very good question. Till now, I have no plans of getting test kits to test water before introducing CRS.

Maybe, maybe not. I got to save the money for CRS. hahaha.
