Its not taking in the water from under the gravel , its by the corner of a tank and its about 4 inch away from the gravel . and if i face chokage will often cleaning help ?

Ok i got your idea of inlet away from filtered return water, quite a innovative concept.

If your tank is not too big then the in & outlet will create a circular effect to draw dirt in from other corners of the tank, thus add a sponge will do to prevent shrimplets being suck in.

Do watch out for water paramenters if you are keeping shrimps. Small tank tend to be challenging.
