Foai & Ventralis
Anyone experienced before to house Foai and Ventralis into a same tank? If both of them, or with other feather fins, such as Furcifer and Nasuta able to live peacefully into a same tank?
Thanks in advance! |

Personally I haven't try comm these featherfins together. However I have read from fellow hobbyists that Ophthalmotilapia can be aggressive. Although ventralis are usually more docile than Nasuta.
Furthermore Foai and furcifer needs their own space to excel and color up. Unless you have a big enough tank to comm the 2 species. Personally view worth a try, unless they won't be killing each other. HAHA |

I don't have a tanganyika lake alike tank at home. But only a Tangan"gaga" tank
Attached some short videos of the Tangan"gaga" tank. I'm having 7 ventralis in one tank. Don't know it is advisable to have foai or furcifer. Nasuta may not work, because of these feather fins are aggresive towards conspecies. Foai and furcifer are from different genus. But foai and furcifer in a same tank may not workable too. Hence, hope can have more ideas from those sifus have/had experienced it before. I kept 6 in 4x2x2, but 2males. The tank was only big enough for 1 male. You need a really big tank to keep both IMHO
