From the size of the puffer, it looks more like a ceylon. Normally I dont see fig 8s growing up up to that size.

Hmm Mr Fahaka Lee, why is your puffers tail fin like that? Looks like fin rot and this type is very hard to heal. How come ur puffer is called grandpa, its still so young lol

For that mbu, please tell your son not to overfeed the mbu till its so bloated cause these puffers will just eat n eat. Mps shdnt be a staple diet for puffers as they need trimming of their teeth, do also give some clams or mussels occasionally.

are puffers jumpy? Can they be kep in tanks less less than 1ft height?

I used to keep about 6" Fahaka in fgt with less than 1' water level, and i have no problem with it. I did put some floating plants so it can take shelter, when stress.
