Just guessing the reason behind for holding on existing deadwood is probably due to Woody.
As said he is more of a businessman then a soccer person. OS not getting support to recruit targetted players. And with limited time to get all ready for next season and coming games ,gotta stick with some season players of our own. Time is clicking. Transfer mkt is not looking good for us. |

Another reason will be giving out extravagant contracts to non deserving players. How to get rid of them when they are sitting on such rich contracts? And why would they work harder to deserve them

Act like Real Madrid lar .... They wanted to get rid of Gareth Bale to free up his wages and yet asking for 80M transfer fee We should offer them Alexis Sanchez and ask for 90M |

Thats a thought! And please, after what Bale has said, don’t come. Already more than enough money diggers

Wanted to get him in since he was a teenager but he has been snubbing us ever since so why should we help him to rebuild his career. Furthermore his salary is way too high and might cause disharmony among the players. |

Bale should just stick to the remainder of his RM contract, earn big bucks, being out of Zidane's team plans and enjoy playing golf as he said himself according to the tabloid news.

1. To enjoy his fat pay package and prepare his early retirement
2. Still young and prime age to showcase himself for his next contract before retirement. I believe if he is not injury prone probably can have another go for contract elsewhere. But pay package doesnt seem worthwhile. |
