Hikari Carnivore pellets for Aro

Hi all,

My 18inch XB recently start to take Hikari Carnivore pellets and I tried feeding her with at least 20pellets per feed but she dun seem full. Was wondering if any bros here do feed Hikari carni pellets to their aro and how much to feed? Alternatively, are there any other bigger sized pellets similar to carni pellets?

Hikari carnivore pellets maybe too small to satisfy ur XB at its current size. Try Hikari jumbo carnisticks or Hikari massivore delite.

IMO, Hikari carnivore pellets more suitable for smaller size fish about less than 12".

Thanks for the advice bro...wanted to try either one that you have mentioned but i am afraid the taste might be different and not sure if my aro will take...

congratulation ur xb is pellets train.

Currently feeding my comm with pellets, my 18" xb is the main consumer. I finished up those small package of carnivore pellets ard 1week time.

Never try, never know.

I'm feeding all 3 types of pellets (those mentioned earlier) now + Tetra XL pellet to my fishes. Your aro can or may be choosy but you can always train them.

In case you are wondering, of all 4 types, my aro do prefer the jumbo carnisticks.

mine takes the carnivore pellets but when i change to the jumbo size, she doesnt like it.. haha.. end up stick to smaller carnivore pellets

May i ask how do you feed the pellet? Do we need soak in water first before throw into tank? Did you fast the aro first?

Just feed as per normal lor..if your aro refuses to take pellets before and you are pellet-training her then maybe you can fast for a few days or maybe even weeks....
