there is this 'perceived' view about certain farm just like parents 'perceived' independent schools as compared to neighbourhood schools. That the former is premium and sending your children is equal to success.
same for arowanas also, certain farms the reds 'will' turn out red and others will not |

I have 7 seven year old. One is one of those branded red and the other normal indo super red..bought 7 years ago..the branded cost double...guesswhat...both turn up just as red..so diesnt mean reputed farm only produced quality red..your luck on what you get and the process of grooming it..

I had reds from QH (Violet Fusion) (2x) and Mitra (2x) farms. All turned out well.
Like most have said, look at the fish quality not necessarily the origin. However, there are some farms that have produced a higher consistency of good quality Reds and hence have built better reputations. Go shopping with a bro here and I'm sure he will be happy to help you hunt for one. But be patient and be cash-ready so that you can buy once a good Red is found. Enjoy! |
