QUOTE=foreverfrontosa;7265260]Foai, bro sheng. A kind of featherfin I suppose.[/QUOTE]
Thanks Richard and FF for posting. Cyathopharynx foai belongs to the featherfins group, here are some more pics of the fries. I was lucky, as these fries came with the mother when I purchase them.. Unfortunately, lost the batch due to illness.. Managed to keep a video of a spawning action... but mum did not hold to term... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dDbOTflDKTo |

Anyone breed Julie Transciptus before (hope get the spelling right)?
I have a couple of the juvs in my 5ft tank from different batches but same adult pair. But the question is how come the colour still dull even though the biggest have reached about 1.5inch? As they are in a comm tank, I sometimes wonder if they have accidentally cross-breed with my Brichardi Because the male & female Julies are close buddies with my Brichardis as they can be seen always close to one another. |

I could have a few hundred fries by now if I separate the fries after each spawn But since one of their best tankmates, one of the Brichardis, died they stop breeding. Since I got no spare tank & space, I just leave them in the 5ft comm tank |
