Anyway only see salt water hobbyist using that, can it be use in fresh water too? Is it redundant for fresh water setup? Thanks

if its good for marine, guess its even better for fresh, planning to get for my aro setup. infact dun wanna see my ORPC and OG lying in store may install soon also.

DSB is deep sand base? A thick layer of sand? Mesh size or type of sand matter?
