Ah ok. Thanks. Anyway just collected from the owner. Wow it's huge. Was struggling quite alot during transporting. The owner told me that it has some reddness underneath. Will probably use the yellow powder as mentioned earlier in this thread. Also noticed that it's shell seems to be "flaking". How should I treat it?

Flaking is usually due to it growing. Don't have to worry about it.

The redness on the underside of the shell is probably due to ammonia arising from poor water quality. Same for the flaking of shell(could be growth too). Just maintain good water quality will do.

Thanks all. I'll probably get some yellow powder to standby. I read here and on some resources about basking the turtles. My tank is outdoors so it gets sun on and off. Is that sufficient?

Good enough. They don't bask as they are fully aquatic. But having some natural sunlight is good.

Its ok for the time being. Just observe your PNT for any signs of recovery. It's still eating right?
A pic will help a lot too.

Only shell? flippers and neck area ok? Try pressing the shell to confirm if it's soft.

Use marine salt and do marine bath for 30 mins, 3-4 times a day.

What is its diet?

Default Reptomin

Hi, anyone here feeding Reptomin to their PNTs? I have reptomin because I feed my RES that also however when I feed my PNT the repto it just ignores it. It will however chase food that sinks such as the hikari pellets which I feed my rays.
