too hot bro, try to reduce temp to 28 if possible.. that temp is better for sick fish to recover.

i dun think the increased temperature recently would affect our fish that drastically unless there's not enough aeration / low DO. if there's noticeable diff with your fish behaviour add more aeration. (i'm talking about normal temperate fish like aros, rays etc, not koi or colder water fish)
when i first moved to sengkang i didnt realise the room temperature would be so high during the hot period. plus the fact i was using hailea/evo pumps (bloody pumps give out a lot of heat) saw my temperature going up to 32-34. but my fish were perfectly fine through that period of roughly 2 weeks.... maybe cause each tank was powered by hiblow40. i changed the pumps to eheim/fluval, added cooling fans and got the temp stable to 28-30. now even in this current weather my temp does not go above 30. one thing to note though, doing WC in late morning/afternoon = warm tap water... i measured 34 degrees from the tap... so doing more WC wouldnt help if u do it at such timings. |
