Default where got sell cheap/reasonable UV tube?

looking to buy the UV light tube or new set?
heard that the bulb hv a life span abt 1yrs, so not advice to get 2nd hand.

another question, do we on the uv light 24x7 or a routine sequence? new to uv light.

There is no true that is an inexpensive UV setup because the replacement tube itself depending on the wattage 9W, 11W, etc varies in pricing from S$29 upwards. In short, the highter the tibe wattage the higher the price.

For the UV, it varies from brand to brand and strongly recommend that you avoid those asian brand as they are not durable which tends to lick at the joints after a short period of usage. Also use the pump flowrate as recommended by the UV vendor.

Get a european made and you can sleep peacefully without any worries that you get a wet flooring the next morning.

UV light should be on 24 x7 and if you have it on a routine schedule then it is best that you forget about having a UV setup.

Don't believe what others said that it will harm the livestock or kill the beneficial bacteria in the tank because they either dont know a UV setup or they dont know what they're commenting.
