Question Can Eheim 2211 filter be used for 2 ft tank instead of 2213? (AkionLCG)

I've just visited the Eheim's website. I saw a canister filter named 2211 with the flowrate of 300l/h, suitable for tank size up to 150 litres.

Flowrate of 2213 is 400l/h and for tank size up to 250 litres.

Whereas the volume of a 2 ft tank is usual less than 100 litres.

Don't you think eheim 2211 is more suitable for a 2 ft tank? Anyone here using it?

I dun think the 2211 is available in Singapore, haven't seen it ard yet. Even Qianhu doesn't carry it the last time i was there..

Which was the reason why i'm using a 2213 for both my 2 footers, works fine, u can actually reduce the flow rate using a valve attached to the inlet/outlet...

Sure, you can used 2211 which I haven't come across. If I'm wrong, always get a filter with flowrate of 3 times the tank volume. 2ft is about 50litres so need a 150l/hr filter so 2211 is more than enough but if you can intending to connect to a external or internal reactor, the flowwrate will reduce. Need to consider that.
2211 has only 1l of filtering capacity while 2213 has 3l with a difference of 100l/hr. I will go for the 2213 with bigger capacity. How much is 2211 btw, I think 2213 would be much economical.
Personally, I'm using eco2233 that connected to an external CO2 reactor for my 2ft.

Last time i went to QH was ard 2-3 mths ago, at that time the smallest eheim classic filter i saw was the 2213..

But if the price difference isn't significant, i would recommend the 2213 due to the bigger canister capacity, as it can accomodate more and different kinds of filter media.

You are the type that like to have new things don't get 2213 as it will simply work on and on ...

I've just got a 2213 from c328 for $85.

Eheim has stop producing OR Singapore no more importing 2211 according to the c328's lady.

Which series better to buy in your opinion and why?

Classic 2213, Ecco 2032, Pro Series 2222 for an approx 130L capacity tank?
