oh you can keep tank in office? My office has a policy that prevents ppl from keeping aquariums, maybe they wanna save on electricity? haha. Yes plase share some photos of your tanks. 2ft is indeed fun, just the right size IMO. Anything bigger than that you can't place it on your table.

The shrimps will automatically appear when it's feeding time

Just bought some rili shrimps, tiger shrimps and green shrimps. Now the tank has a myriad of dwarf shrimps including yellow, CRS, cherry, sakura, orange, sunkist, gold and 3 cute ottos!

You are welcome. If the photos really do help you, that would be great. We are all learning as we go. So far, the LS in my tank are doing well, with near 0 mortality rate since I upgraded to this tank. I used to get 1-2 deaths per day in my smaller IQ5 tank. The filtration just wasnt good enough and i did not add those 'supplements' into my water. But a heavily planted tank like mine would most certainly require CO2. And if possible, keep a few ottos to help rid of any uneaten food on the substrate. Good luck!

Introduced 10 "Rili" shrimp (琉璃蝦) into my tank. These shrimps originated from Taiwan and require slightly soft water and good filtration. pH: 6.0-8.0 Temp: 22-28C.

My ottos compete with food with the shrimps. Any of you face this problem?
