i am no expert.
quality wise depending on individual fishes.
i have seen very good quality burundi.
i have also seen weird looking ones...
burundi is not rare and expensive.
but it will be pretty rare to find nice burundi nowadays.
a lot of inbreeding and hence a lot of weird looking ones

comm with tigers? i guess it is possible. but will the water parameters be all right to suit both fishes?

For tigers , PH is about 6.8 to 7.2 . Is it the same for frontosa ? Saw a bro post some burundi for sale , quite tempted cos I like the Kok heads ... Apart from PH , any other things to take note bro ?

7.5 onwards to 8.5
i think i recall some bros mentioned 9.0 before
other things to note are temp, tank size... hiding space and the food they eat... infact, i dont think burundi may get enough food if comm with tigers.

why dont you keep a full tank of tanganyika fishes? so much easier to comm
tangan with other tangan... or a tank of many burundi alone? [like TS]

someone's burundi colony from online.

bro my advice is not to mix them.
1)diff waer parameters
2)diff growth rate,ur tigs will definitely outgrow e fronts
3)totally diff temperament tt wun match
4)all e above causing stress to e fish
