Default Not Flaring

Hi Bro and Sis, my new betta isn't flaring at all.

Tried exposing it to other bettas but still the same. Feeding is normal, other than that, no problem. Anyone can help?

Cover the tank up all sides, off the lights for 1-2 days.

try flaring it afterwards.
