New Betta

Hello everyone,

Just gotten 2 betta from a farm in pasir ris after not keeping fish for like 10 years. put them in my office!

i understand that most of the betta from farms, aquarium are used to live food. so they dun really eat for the first few day.

one of them is damn lively.

however the other one look restless. even when i place them side by side, its not interested to show off to the lively one.

anyone can advise?

New condition will stress the fish. If u did aclimatise the fishes properly it should be alright. Can add ktp leave inside.

Some fishes have lesser resistance to new environment and water parameter.
Might take a longer time.

As for pellet feeding, starve them for a day or two and intro a bit of pellet.
