Rusty everywhere....
Hi all, my 2 tier 3 feet steel rack is only 2 years old but the rusty stains are now everywhere. It even migrated itself to the middle if the bottom of styrofoams.
Anyway to salvage the situation? Would continue usage cause any risk of danger? |

For safety and free of worries, I will change it as it is not expensive.

If u see signs of thinning at the welding area, time to change the stand.

Better don't save on this. Imagine the weight of the fish tank and water the stand needs to support.

Imo, don't bother painting ...
You can paint until flawless on the outside(superficially/aesthetically) but inside already corrosive and that's the most dangerous scenario. |
