Default Any way to stop laying of eggs

Hi bros,

Is there any way to stop the laying of eggs by ranchus? Way seh... my place and my mum's place ranchus consecutively lay eggs for 2 to 3 times after changing water. Then must change again!

Yeh. Only solution - buy male. That's what I did.

But is not that male species is the one punching the female's egg to be released??? and the sperm is the one make the water cloudy?? so male is the one who responsible I think make the water colder if possible (eg dormant period), that's definitely stop laying egg... but so cruel. or separate male and female and give them vegetarian pellets
