My guess, since a pico eco cycle is in a making a condusive water condition will be sustainable, too frequent and large WC will leach mineral which'll effect the buffering effect.

This sump supported:
Aro, tig, pb (about 11 inch)
3 tiger (about 5-8 inch)
4 tinfoil (about 4 inch).

Thanks for sharing, bro. Your sump looks very neat and new, I can never get my sump to be so clean like yours .

Guess tank setup less than a year I? Your fishes are still not big, after couple years when fishes are more than 15 inch than perhaps maintainance will be different, imho.

I see.some LFS and hobbist here with big tank and big fish supported by j mat only without hassles, hope my doing well when fish getting bigger.

May I know what medias you use in your 2nd last column of your sumptank? i only saw coral chips from the photo
