need help pls - Ranchu stays at bottom not moving
one of my ranchus has gone submarine on me ... stays at the bottom with fins closed whole body not moving except mouth ... he is usually the most active one
the rest in the tank seems ok and are swimming ard normally .. i have added salt and did my usual morning 30% WC this started last night ... funny thing is .. he is still as greedy as ever and springs to life when food is dropped should i be worried ? any medication ? |

Water already cycled? Any slight fin rot? If you have a spare/hospital tank, I would quarantine it if I were you, just in case...

try parzi gold, do QT your fish for treatment untill it recover.

ya bro as recommended by some brothers, better quarantine the fish at different QT tank, stop feeding for few days to check if the fish will actively looking for food or not....
I encountered similar case (about 2-3 times) on one of my CBR few month ago, still try to figure out the root cause on this....seems not related to my water quality, my initial suspect was over feeding... |

today got worse
gonna get a hosp tank once LFS are open to separate this guy ASAP any advice ? what medication ? |

Looks like gill flukes and dropsy on the way. Salt n yellow powder and QT the fish, plus stop feeding.
