Default need help pls - Ranchu stays at bottom not moving

one of my ranchus has gone submarine on me ... stays at the bottom with fins closed whole body not moving except mouth ... he is usually the most active one

the rest in the tank seems ok and are swimming ard normally ..

i have added salt and did my usual morning 30% WC

this started last night ...

funny thing is .. he is still as greedy as ever and springs to life when food is dropped

should i be worried ?

any medication ?

Water already cycled? Any slight fin rot? If you have a spare/hospital tank, I would quarantine it if I were you, just in case...

water is the same one i used since sunday .. water change everyday 20% approx

no fin rot ...

try parzi gold, do QT your fish for treatment untill it recover.

I c, previously one of my goldies also like yours, but with some slight fin rot, everyday 15% wc, increase salt and slight increase the air bubble, with very minimal food, and lastly some yellow powder.

It had recover within a week, hope yours recover soon.

ya bro as recommended by some brothers, better quarantine the fish at different QT tank, stop feeding for few days to check if the fish will actively looking for food or not....

I encountered similar case (about 2-3 times) on one of my CBR few month ago, still try to figure out the root cause on this....seems not related to my water quality, my initial suspect was over feeding...

i also suspect overfeeding

but mine is still greedy as ever ..

i will QT the bugger soon

today got worse

gonna get a hosp tank once LFS are open to separate this guy ASAP

any advice ? what medication ?

Looks like gill flukes and dropsy on the way. Salt n yellow powder and QT the fish, plus stop feeding.
