nicely done!
as for a full algae carpet, I think it might be a little hard algae do not grow much at area where there's surface water movement such as near your fountain in my pond, algae doesn't seem to grow near the venture area maybe the surface movement acts similarly to shading? |

Thks bro...
3 of my fishes have some problem and I am pretty worry... First is my smaller Albino knife. It got bitten or attacked. Very badly injured with red slashes. Very bloody and scary. See the pic. It is being isolated and hopefully it can recover soon. Then came one of my catfish. Dont know why it suddenly spin and spin... Looks going to up lorry soon... See the video. It is also being isolated so that it will not be attacked by other fishes, and easier for me to scoop it up if it really gone Last came the unlucky xb. I forgot to hook back and secure the net after isolating the catfish and this xb jumps out of the fgt while I was not around. Luckily I could be back in time and put it back in pond. Not sure how long has it stayed out from the water and if it had 'sucked' in lots of air and caused it to have its back floated above the water now. SBP? See the pic. Hopefully it will recover by itself. Lets just hope these 3 fishes could recover soon... |

This morning my xb really dont look good and it turn upside down. I quickly bought Epson salt and hoping that I could do something to save it.... But I can't...
It passed away this evening after with me for about 20 months. After quitting this hobby for several years, I restart with this xb. I really feel so sad that now it had gone. Just a few days ago, it was still strong and healthy.... Now it is dead. I believe that it had suffered serious internal injury and also had been out from the water for too long, taking in too much air... I still naively thought that I had managed to come back in time to save its life.... It is just too late... I will really miss this xb.... Rest in peace.... |
