forgot to mention that I'm located in Hougang, even though the Chlorine levels seems to be higher here. The aros dun seem to mind.
Here my WC exercise: - Dispose of old water from tank via a 12l pail (few times). - Add OceanFree (Formula A), water conditioner. (For all 200l water, expected when everything is done. Roughly abt 15ml of conditioner) - Fill water from tap (12l), add 1ml of water conditioner (Designed for 17l/ml). Bubble the water for abt 5min. - Pour directly into tank, replace till I replace abt 40l+ to reach 200l. - Wash cotton wool with tap water, kills everything n clean after too. (Might replace if too old). As my bioload is handled by canister. Thats all, works well for me. My aros dun seems to be affected, still ready to eat and swims around all day. |

all my 5 external canisters have not been washed for yrs. my 5x2x2 red tank never change water. just 5% direct from tap top up with lots of stress coat aloe vera once every 2 weeks due to evaporation.
tankmates are 12 cardinals, 3 cl, 2 sae, 6 torpedos, 2 feeders and 1 tiny pleco. feeding 100% sw and only today started with small cut mp with shell. |
