Default Debris

Just restart back fishkeeping. Am using 2ft tank with eheim 2215. But i notice alot of debris floating ard the tank. Inlrt doesnt seem to be sucking up these debris. I dont rmb any such issue with my last tank running on eheim 2213. Any solution to this? Thanks in advance.

Not too sure what debris is that but I'm guessing probably the outflow of the 2215 is strong (620 l/hr) for your 2ft tank (maybe volume of 50-60liters if it is 2x1x1)

Thus the turbulence in the 2ft tank is great which makes the chance of inlet taking in the debris is lower.

If you have a valve maybe you can try reducing the outlet flow and see if this is actually the problem.

No problem just making a bold guess since you said your previous 2213 (440l/hr) is of no problem.

I'm having an external cannister (not eheim) but with this same flow of 400l/hr on my 2ft is fine also.

With having such a strong outlet some fish may also not enjoy which you need to consider
