I regularly do wc every 2 days once
Add in 5kg oyster shell ..

Bro, using PH buffer powder will maintain your water PH at the range of 6.5, but of coz it doesn't mean u don't do WC and just keep adding it every 6-7 days.

For me, i feel coral chip take time to buffer the PH which powder is faster, but subject to individual some might want to use natural way, some might want to use chemical.

How do you manage to achieve constant PH at 5-ish ah? Maybe you could describe your setup so we could try rectify problem from there first? BTW do u reside in Singapore?

My tank is 6x2.5x2 using ios and ohf.. ios have 10kg biohome+ 5kg biohome grey and my ohf has 2compartment of mr aqua cr..
