When the freekick was taken, I had my hands clasped praying for a goal.
I guess Pickford heard me LoL.
Massive 3 points that keeps us in the hunt.
Also gives the team a big lift for Napoli game.

After matchweek 14, only the top 5 teams have 30 points or more, with the current league leader on 38 points. Liverpool sit in 2nd place with 36 points, just 2 points behind Manchester City.

Default Van Dijk wins PFA Player of the Month award

Virgil van Dijk has been named the PFA Player of the Month for November.

Liverpool's No.4 beat off competition from Tottenham Hotspur’s Harry Kane, Aaron Mooy of Huddersfield Town and Manchester City trio Leroy Sane, Raheem Sterling and David Silva to land the award.

Van Dijk made five appearances for Liverpool during November, helping the team to keep clean sheets in the wins over Fulham and Watford.

Default Sadio Mane and Andy Robertson injury latest

Liverpool will need to assess the fitness of Sadio Mane and Andy Robertson ahead of Wednesday evening’s Premier League trip to Burnley.

The duo sustained minor injuries during Sunday’s 1-0 victory over Everton at Anfield and Jürgen Klopp has confirmed their issues will need to be checked before determining whether they can figure at Turf Moor.

The boss told his pre-match press conference on Tuesday: “Sadio and Robbo we need to have another look at today.

“Sadio really had an awful cut on his foot. It needed to be stitched; he is OK but walking around here now in flip-flops and you don’t play in flip-flops! That means in this moment he is not ready, but we will see later.

“With Robbo it is not that serious as with Sadio, but we need to have a look.”

Meanwhile, Klopp was asked for an update on Rhian Brewster’s condition as the youngster continues his rehabilitation programme from an ankle ligament injury picked up in January.

The boss said: “[He is] not that close that we have to talk about it now. He is here, around, he is our boy and gets the best treatment he can get and all that stuff, but it is not that he will start tomorrow or next week.

“There is still a lot of work to do.”

Default Robbo in running for Premier League Player of the Month

Liverpool defender Andy Robertson has been nominated for the Premier League Player of the Month award for November.

The Scotland captain played all three of the Reds’ matches, a 1-1 draw at Arsenal and victories over Fulham and Watford either side of the international break.

As well as contributing to two clean sheets, Robertson helped to create two goals from left-back.

The No.26 is up against six other Premier League players for the prize: Felipe Anderson, Lucas Digne, Leroy Sane, David Silva, Moussa Sissoko and Raheem Sterling.

Congratulations Alisson Becker for winning SERIE A best keeper award for his time playing with AS Roma.

Yesterday I had the pleasure of receiving the award for best goalkeeper of the 17/18 Italian championship!
Very happy and thankful to God for this gift
