Rather just go with a pressurized cylinder co2 setup. Save more in the long term, else just use Excel as a carbon substitute.

Just bought a box of tablet and excel. The tablet left a white residue that strangely my fishes like to eat. The next day the residue were all disolve and my fishes survive from the consumption. Really made me worried initially.
And the excel, damn good melt the algea almost instantly. Do all think that a co2 setup is too much for just a 1.5 ft tank? Would want to setup though. |

last time when I use the tablets, I had the same issue of fishes or shrimps munching on it. So I dump the tabs into the surface skimmers of my filters to solve this issue
