Default HELP! new co2 tank pressure drop

hi guys..just bought a new CO2 tank from NA today afternoon..was advised to leave it for at least 5 hrs and check if pressure drop from 1000psi to below 500 psi..if drop below means leaking.. this did not happen so i adjusted the the main knob on the tank and adjust the knob on the regulator..now suddenly the pressure is less than 500 psi.. is there something wrong? its now around 250 to 300psi...need advice so i can change it.. the tank still feels very heavy

should have leakage from somewhere, few things:

1. did you use some white tape for connecting the tank to your regulator?
2. replace your tubings
3. check the bubble counter for leakage

leakage due to what I had mentioned may be common, tubings become harden over time will crack....likewise for the bubble counter. As for the connecting of tank to regulator, just use some white tape and go a few rounds before tightening the nut.

ok problem solved..but now i noticed after setting checking the bubble counter was going at 1 bubble every 2 secs after quite a few hours it will become slower and sometime stops producing any bubble at all.. is this normal due to temperature fluctuation?? have the main valve open fully anyway so i wondering if its the regulator problem

sound like you are using manual regulator. How many pressure gauge on your regulator?
