Default Lightings for 5x2.5x2 tank

Hi, would like to know what lightings are you guys using for a 2.5ft depth tank? I just upgraded from a 4x2x2 tank to a 5x2.5x2, and am using the existing 3 lights of T5 10k, doesnt seems to be strong enough to reach the depth.

T5 10k to me very strong lights & generate large amount of heat le. Considered your depth, it might not fully penetrate to the bottom.

what fishes you keeping & purpose of using strong lightings?

Bro.

Your tank length 5ft, width is 2.5ft and depth 2ft base on what you stated, if not mistaken.
And what fish you are keeping? Need so strong lighting. If tanning arowana then is ok. But for koi or gold fish then is too strong or maybe you like looking at it very bright in the tank.

I shine my koi with reptile light, not too strong light, sort off sunlight.

Just my opinon.
